The Design Toolkit and Labella are two case studies of my PhD work/design-led research. HCI and Intimate Care as an Agenda for Change in Women’s Health gives an overview of this research and it received an Honorable Mention Award at ACM CHI 2016 (Talk here). Labella received Best Paper Award at ACM CHI 2016 (Talk here) and a Design Award at Augmented Human 2015. Labella was nominated for The O2 NextGen Digital Challenge Awards 2016, UK.
The Design Toolkit and Labella are included in the itinerant exhibition I Will What I Want: Women, Design, and Empowerment shown at Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, Parsons School of Design in New York (April 2017), travelling to MUCA Roma, Mexico City (November 2017 - March 2018). Curated by Jimena Acosta and Michelle Millar Fisher.
Pelvics and Intimates are conceptual designs additional to the PhD research and practice.
